Trail maintenance for CCORS
Author Last Post
Bob and I did that on Sunday afternoon!  Agreed that that was a dangerous spot (still it with the woops right after that).  The trees that are leaning there will continue to come down but for now it is okay.

Yes PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS RIDING OUT AT THE TRAIL CLEAR ANY BRUSH AND BRANCHES THAT YOU SEE.  Bob and I cleared MANY branches from the trail on Sunday afternoon after I know many riders went by them.  This trail is enjoyed by many and we ALL need to pitch in and help keep it in good shape.  I am not asking everyone to go out and buff every corner, but if there is a big branch down that you have to go around, just stop and move it.  It takes about 30 sec and if everyone does a couple then the work is split up and the trail is clear again in no time.

Thanks,
Ryan

There was a tree down on either outer limits or BC. As far as Swamp and Creek are concerned, just some small branches which are easy to pull out of the way. I would be happy to help clean out the mess of leaning trees that make a cramped passage at the bottom of the hill after the bowl. Do you think that will get done before the first CCORS race?

Chris,
We rode out there this weekend and I did not think there was anything that needed to be cut on the trails we will be racing on (swamp and creek loops).  Did I miss something (there is a big one on the outer limits)?   We do plan to clean up the bottom of the first hill after the bowl where that tree is leaning in.

There are some branches down, and probably more after last night!!  So if anyone is out there before this weekend, please let us know what you find and also please take a minute to move branches that you see from the trail.  We have plenty of work to do taping the course off and getting the rest of the race ready that some help on this regard would be very much appreciated!!

There will probably be a few of us out there on Sunday but I will post if this turns into a full blown workday.

Are there any scheduled trail work days before the first CCORS race on Feb 10th? The freezing rain put a lot of junk on the trail and downed a few trees.
