Join us for a benefit ride for Toys for Tots on Saturday, October 29th! Meet at Local Oak in Winterville at 12:30p; ride groups depart at 1p. Registration fee is covered either by bringing a toy (worth $20 or more) when you arrive or $25 paid in advance, which will be donated to TfT. As a thank-you, your first beer or beverage at Local Oak at the post-ride social is on us! All ride groups will return to Local Oak at approximately 5p. Food will be available for purchase through Tucci's Fired Up food truck, arriving starting at 4p. Route options: 37 mi road route (average 12-13 mph) 60 mi road route (average 15-16 mph). Store Stop at Mile 42 in Snow Hill. Taco Truck: El Piruli across the street from the store is also available! 65 mi "gravel curious" route (expect to average 16-18 mph). Store stop at mile 37 in Grifton (on corner at right turn). This is a self-supported ride -- we will provide GPX files for your convenience, but we will not have aid stations or pavement markings. Bring what you need to be self-sufficient, such as tools to fix a flat, lights, water, and snacks.
